I’m sorry if this is very long. I hope you’re all doing well and I wanted to take a moment to share something important. As you have seen, I’ve been inactive on the Discord Server not chatting and communicating with the members. Nowadays my Discord usage revolves around working on Freelancing projects and talking to the clients.

I’ve really thought about this message for a while and I’ve had to decide what would be the best way forward for me. I’m actually doing a lot of stuff IRL and it’s keeping me very very busy….

It’s very difficult for me to make this decision, I’ve carefully decided that I will officially be sunsetting Nate Bot and Weeby API after over 7 years of developing both the projects for you guys. I simply do not have much of the time to work on the projects anymore due to my IRL commitments and that busy work is ever so increasing...

Nate Bot will shut down on 15th May and Weeby API will shut down on 15th June (Evening AEST)

All data will be deleted when the projects shut down, if you’re asking, the code and assets are not for sale. This Discord server will remain open until all of the outstanding work (shutdowns and freelance) has been completed.

If you have an active bot/dashboard order, I’ll continue working on it and aim to finish it as planned. However, if you prefer, I’m happy to offer a 100% no hassle refund, and I’ll provide the source code as part of that.

For those on an active hosting plan, it will continue until it expires but you will not be able to renew it. I’m more than happy to help you migrate your bot or dashboard to a different hosting solution.

I would like to thank everyone for being apart of this journey, for the memories and to you guys supporting me and these projects over the years. It’s been a long one and Nate Bot is the reason I am able to develop more of my programming and technology skills to this day, along with meeting some developers who I’ve been fortunate enough to work with and clients I’ve worked with and most importantly interacting with you guys. I've been recently working with Next.js and Tailwind and its an interesting set of modern web technologies. It's truly next level compared to what i've done in the past for web development and i'm absolutely loving it.

So finally I'd like to thank you for using Nate Bot and Weeby API in your Discord Servers and Discord Bots. I hope to have provided something for you to enjoy and you making some great memories. I will still be on Discord but not as much than i used to be.
